North Carolina’s Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) is the business and technology extension service of the University of North Carolina system. The Center operates ten regional service centers in fifteen offices statewide.

Initiatives

Veterans Business Outreach Center

The Center is designed to provide entrepreneurial development services such as business training and mentoring for eligible veterans owning or considering starting a small business. Administered through a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Center has helped over 20,000 veterans since 2006 and boasts offices in Fayetteville and Raleigh. Learn more here.

Business Startup Online Training

These short modules are designed for individuals who are thinking about or have begun the process of starting a business. Each session is approximately 30 minutes long and can be viewed by anyone who registers on the SBTDC website. After registering, participants will be able to access the webinar and view it at
